Sam & Jessie {Wedding Photographer, Ames, IA.}

This past weekend was a special weekend for me and my family, my little brother (who isn't so little anymore) got married!

I've decided that winter weddings are the most romantic setting now to get married in. There's just something about the snow and ice and beauty of it that makes it so romantic. Sam & Jessie were married on a beautiful winter day in Iowa. It was 32 degrees outside and perfect. Just the right amount of frost dusted the trees that morning to make it perfect!

I love weddings, and especially ones for people I love. It's hard to believe that my little brother is married and I have a new Sister. But, I'm so glad I do!

I was not the main shooter at this wedding, it was nice to sit back and enjoy this moment with my family. But, if you know me you know that a camera is never to far away. So here's a little preview of the photos I did snap while taking in the amazing day with my family!

On Christmas Eve I traveled over to the Shoff residence to take some family pictures of them. All the brothers and their families were in town for Christmas, they asked me to come and take pictures of their family all together for the holidays. A great way to spend my Christmas Eve morning, and a great ending to 2009.
