Apple Orchard & Vineyard Visit

This past weekend Hubby and I traveled to Aamodt's Apple Orchard & Vineyard. It was my first taste of a vineyard, so pretty! Got a few shots, amidst our fun! Take a look for yourself:

Little Touch of Fall

While I was at the orchard this weekend shooting pictures, I stole away some time and just shot different things around the orchard. There was a wedding taking place that day too, and I thought what a wonderful place to have an outdoor wedding. A good idea for brides, but this particular day was really hot, it's not quite fall yet here. It will be in just a few more weeks and then I am getting really excited for the family shoots coming up in October! My favorite month!

A is for Apple

This past Saturday it was a beautiful day for apple picking, hay rides, and photo taking! I took a little trip and shot Becky Norman and her son Chaz to the apple Orchard. Her sister in law Megan and daughter Alexis came along too. Here's some fun shots from our day, it was hard to choose just a few from the 130 photos, but here are my favs from the day.


They were wonderful all day long despite the long car ride, and the heat once we got there. Apple orchards are a wonderful place for family pictures, there's so much to do and so much fun.

Logo Fun!

They are finally here! New logos... made by Courtney Feia! She's so talented, and I'm thankful that she took on this project! They look amazing and I can't wait to show them off, and use them on all kinds of promo materials!!! Take a look:

Life in a Small Town

I love small towns, probably cause that's where I mostly grew up. I understand small town life, and it's appeal. While although not for everyone, I love the little shops that are exclusive to that little town, how every smiles at you when you walk down the street, and how you feel safe enough not to lock your doors at night. That's where I grew up. Over Labor Day weekend my family and I headed up North to Alexandria, MN. While although this town is bigger than where I grew up, it does have that same small town feel.

I loved spending the day walking around their downtown area, shopping, eating and just having fun. Here are a few shots from that day:

Welcome to Fall!

As I've mentioned it's a new season. I was walking downtown this afternoon, and I started to see the ivy leaves creep up one of my favorite buildings in downtown Minneapolis. It reminded me that fall is just around the corner! It's one of my favorite times of year, the leaves changes, the colors, the scarves, the cold crisp air! And... a perfect time to take pictures. Families, seniors, and children. You name it, it's a great time! I love this time of year. I will now leave you with some fresh fall pics from CK Farms:

It's the start of a new season....

With wedding season over for the most part, I'm starting a new season. Now it's on to Senior portraits and family sessions. This is the time when young love grows, families get larger, and new blessings are made! I am excited for what's to come in business and in life! October is almost here! I'm almost at my 1 year, many celebrations to come. Look for more details coming next month!

Shawn Bryant {Senior Photographer, Minneapolis, MN.}

Couple weekends ago, I continued Shawn's senior photos up in Alexandria, MN. Here's little pre-view of some shots we took. More to come later, still in the editing process. One thing that I've loved, is that even though Shawn is my brother (and somewhat has to put up with me, taking endless amounts of pictures of him) he's been really great through this process. Offering his own ideas, and really making these photographs about him and his own. I really like that he's gotten involved in them. I want all my clients (brother or not) to feel like they can add themselves and their input into things! We're continuing the process this weekend back home on the farm! He's been gracious enough to be the trail & error for my 1st Seniors Shoot, and I love him for it. More to come later, but for now enjoy these pictures:
